The Drink

It was not the drink, tasty as it was,
It was not the beer nor it's very subject matter,
it's a most potent brew,
as Lords have tasted,
It was not the long day I've had,
nor the crowd I served,
nor is it the world,
neither the views of our human nature,
No, my friends,
it's my own very nature
that's driven to drink as such,
at the very least,
it's a creation of my inverted observation.
